Few things in the world set my heart a-flutter like a new bike. The Prologo saddle ain't my steez. It will soon be pawned off to some wide eyed Colnago goof.
Lurking in the dark, silent, ready...............a cross bike...........with knobbies......................... Blessings to your new bike. Hope it gives you many a miles and that you eat a lot of dirt. a.
I concur.. very sexy. My cross hog is the original 'spare parts' rig that i kitted up for under 500 with wheels. Im contemplating an upgrade to go under 20lbs... lol
stc...I had a Gitane XO awhile back and I think the frame alone was 20lbs. It seems the 20lb barrier is finally becoming doable. The World Cup sits around 19.8lbs. Most of the cross bikes we've seen from Scott, Felt, Cannondale, etc. are kinda porky at 22lbs or so. They also tend to come with some pretty crappy parts...
You'd be surprised how comfy that saddle is though; I got one to test because I have a good relationship with Prologo (Velo) and I never took it off. It's still on my bike and is staying there. It's a great saddle, if it is the one I think it is- Scratch?
Masi Guy> The saddle seems to be a cheap version of the Choice Pro with steel rails and cheaper click on cover. I may like the Choice Pro, though I've not ridden one yet. Their Nago model seems to more my style though. The Scratch looks good too.
King> You have an uncanny knack for showing up with no lunch money.
